LOST SOULS

In an old basement – time stands still,

Dust on objects, on memories grown ill.

A heavy silence, with whispers beneath,

A gentle presence that hides in the sheath.

If you listen closely, through fracture and fold –

You might uncover what’s broken… and old.

And if you insist, with patience and grace,

You just might mend what once lost its place.
